1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using linkroom.co.za you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What Linkroom is
Linkroom is a job-board aggregator for the South African market. We collect job listings from publicly available employer career pages, structure them for easier browsing, and link visitors directly to the employer's own application page. Linkroom is not an employment agency, recruiter, or labour broker as defined in the Employment Services Act, 2014. We do not match candidates, do not handle applications, and do not collect or share CVs.
3. Accuracy of listings
We make a reasonable effort to keep listings accurate and current, but the underlying information is published by third-party employers and may change without notice. You are responsible for verifying any listing — including salary, location, deadlines, and authenticity of the employer — before applying. If you find a listing that is inaccurate, expired, or fraudulent, please report it to support@linkroom.co.za.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Linkroom for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, mirror, or republish substantial parts of the site without our written permission.
- Attempt to interfere with the site's operation, bypass our security, or test for vulnerabilities without authorisation.
- Use the site to harass, defraud, or impersonate any person.
- Submit false or misleading information through any of our forms.
5. Intellectual property
The Linkroom name, logo, branding, page layouts and original editorial content (including articles in the "Career Advice" section) are owned by TedTec Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd and protected by South African copyright law. Job listing content remains the property of the respective employers; we display it under a fair-use rationale for the purpose of helping candidates discover and apply.
6. Notice and takedown
If you are an employer or rights holder and you believe a listing on Linkroom infringes your rights or contains information that should be removed, send a written notice to admin@tedtec.co.za identifying (a) the URL of the listing, (b) the specific concern, and (c) your contact details. We will review and act on legitimate requests within 7 business days.
7. Third-party services and links
The site contains advertisements served by Google AdSense and links to external employer websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, services, or practices of any third party. Use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
8. No employment guarantee
Linkroom does not guarantee that any listing will result in an interview or job offer, that the employer will respond to your application, or that any vacancy is currently open. The employer's own selection processes apply.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TedTec Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of Linkroom or any external site you reach through it. Our total cumulative liability for any direct loss is limited to ZAR 1,000.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify TedTec Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd against any claim arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Suspension
We may suspend or restrict access to the site, in whole or in part, at any time without notice for maintenance, security, or to prevent abuse.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Local Division (Johannesburg), has exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the dispute-resolution provision below.
13. Dispute resolution
Before either party commences legal proceedings, the parties will first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith discussion. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation in Johannesburg under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA), failing which to court.
14. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
15. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
