Job Purpose
To enable change by defining the needs and the rationale for change, to understand the current state, to define the future state, and to determine the activities required to move from the current to the future state by applying the principles of business analysis, according to the requirements classification schema, from a diverse array of multi-functional perspectives with an agile mindset. Follows rules and guidelines to perform tasks, adheres to prescribed ways to work in order to execute activities related to the competency, and recognizes the key elements of the competency and why they are important. Pair with Product Designers (CX/UX), Business Architects (BARC), Testers (QA), Data Analysts (DA) and key roles in the requirements value chain.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements discovery and documentation for Dynamics 365 initiatives
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Define current and future business processes, data needs, and non-functional requirements (e.g., security, performance)
- Distinguish between configuration and customisation requirements
- Maintain and prioritise a backlog aligned to business value
- Support delivery through requirement clarification, change management, UAT, and defect triage
- Drive stakeholder alignment and formal sign-off
Requirements
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Operates effectively in Agile or Kanban delivery models
- Ensures traceability from demand through release
- Aligns requirements with architecture, governance, and compliance standards
- Proven Business Analyst experience on Dynamics 365 / CRM platforms
- Strong facilitation, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable challenging vague or solution-led requests
- Experience in complex or regulated environments
Minimum Experience Level: 3 - 6 years
Preferred Qualification: IT qualification, Diploma in BA endorsed by IIBA
Preferred Certifications: IIBA endorsed
